Best Review on Oster BLSTPB WBL 250 Watt Blender Powder
I've had this blender about 3 weeks now and I use it about 4 times a week. It works really great. I like to make fruit smoothies to replace lunches some days. I don't use the drinking attachment that goes with it. I drink these at home, and just pour them in a cup. The only thing that is a negative for me is I use ice cube trays for ice, and it wont break up the large pieces of ice. I have to put some ice cubes in a ziploc bag and smash them with a tenderizer to break them up lol. My favorite smoothie is soy milk, crunchy peanut butter, banana, tofu, and honey. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a single serving size blender.
Update:
After about 2 months of use, the part where the blender attaches to the base began to rub. I would put the cup on the base, and the motor spins the metal teeth inside. The part where they attach is made of rubber, which would get very hot and melt. After a while it stopped spinning because it didn't fit together anymore. I was very disappointed with this!!
I just used this product for the first time this morning. I have been making a protein shake each morning for the last couple weeks. It has peanut butter and frozen fruit in it to help make it thicker. There are times with my full size blender that I have to stir the ingredients to get it to mix up well. With this blender I did not have to do any stirring and my shake is blended better than what my full size blender was doing. I need to buy an extra bottle or two to make it even better.
BalasHapusBought this to make smoothies with ice cubes for a frozen post-workout protein shake. Ice is completely blended with no chunks to be seen. No leaking and easy to clean container.
BalasHapusI love my Oster personal blender!!! I have had the Magic Bullet for a few years and my mom thought the new Oster would be just like that so she thought it was pointless to buy. I ignored her and got it anyways and we love it! The Magic Bullet makes personal size smoothies, but it is far more expensive (although it does other things, too) and it's cups are just that--cups. They have no lid so you really can't take your smoothie with you unless you put it in another bottle. This is why I got the oster. You just blend, put the lid on, and go! It's great for drinking on the way to school or work and it is so fast to make! The longest part of the process is peeling any fruit you want to put in it, but if you use frozen fruit or fruit that does not need to be peeled, or you aren't making a fruit smoothie, it is quite fast! It can make frozen coffee drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, etc. IT is fantastic! The only thing I need now is for someone to sell extra bottles for it. Right now we only have one so only one person can have a smoothie. Generally I am the only one who drinks them daily, but sometimes my mom or sister will want one, too. If anyone knows where you can get more bottles, let me know!
BalasHapusThis is a great personal blender!
BalasHapusEasy clean up,easy to use, crushes ALL the ice, cute bottle. So nice to not have to use a full size blender.
So far I have used it to make a perfectly blended smoothie and an iced coffee. I will be saving a lot of money not going to Jamba Juice and the coffee shop. This will definitely be getting a lot of use from me. I highly recommend
Mine shipped faster then the estimate, I placed my order April 3rd and received April 18th.
This Blender came at the perfect time. I am on a new healthy life plan with my eating. I love fruit/veggie shakes for breaks. I wake up, throw some ice and fruit or veggies into this bad-boy and push. I get dressed, grab this To-Go cup and I'm ready for my spin class. Its easy to set up (its set up) and easy to use. It also looks great on my counter.
BalasHapusI can't complain at all about this little blender. Works great for me, I use it AT LEAST once a day. It works great on everything- including ice. I use it with my Body by Vi shakes and I highly recommend it for that. Easy cleaning and super easy to use, no mess at all!

A great personal blender. It crushes ice and frozen fruit very well. Unlike other reviews I have no problems with leaks or spills. I would agree that the top is a bit weird to drink out of at first, but I like my smoothies to be drank with a straw anyway, so it works out. My roommates love it too, and we're ordering additional bottles so they can start making their own too.
BalasHapusIts a great and quick way to make breakfast on the go. I would suggest this to any college student (or anyone) trying to stay healthy and is always on the go.
I really like this personal blender. I just bought it last week and I've used it 15 times. I like that I can make a single serving of smoothie without dirtying up and cleaning the jumbo blender. I have had no problem with messes. I really don't think this is made to toss in a tote/gym/duffel bag, so I have not done so because I'm 70 percent sure it'll create some type of mess. While drinking from it, there was NO mess at all. The smoothie did not pool around the rim or anything. I think it is all in the way you sip from it. Make sure you lightly suck on the rim as you pull the bottle away to take a break (not sure if is clear enough), but that should help.
BalasHapusThe only complaint is that if you are making a smoothie with frozen fruit and ice, it might take longer to blend completely. I made a Yoplait smoothie (yuck, by the way), which has frozen fruit and frozen chocolate, and I still had chunks of chocolate and banana in it, which tells me it takes longer. But fresh fruit and ice should take less time. This is obviously not a high powered blender, so please don't expect it to handle a heavy load very well. Simple smoothies and shakes, yes. But if you have mostly frozen ingredients, I would pull out the big-girl blender.
Overall, I really like it and do not regret my purchase. I expect this blender to last between 1-2 years and I'll likely buy the same one.
