Read First Before Buy OmniBlend Professional Blender Stevia Extract
The OMNI Blender is really powerful, I would say, it's just as strong blending and fine blending as those at costco... you know what I mean... I blended broccoli and avocado (a whole one), needed the tamper because I didn't have enough water in the jar. So I stuck the tamper in without the lid in place (they say you need to take off the cap in the lid and insert the tamper stick plunger through that hole). Had to discard my ingredients. Totally.. I felt goofy. The company sent a new replacement plunger.
The blender, on the second run, when I did it right, blended up the whole broccoli avocado puree super fine. Don't ask how it tasted... different story of why I blended up broccoli and avocado. I actually mix that up with almond pulp (left overs from almond milk making), add some oil, and then mix up a nut-butter spread with that. It's pretty green. I should make a video and post it on youtube some day... we will see.
great powerful blender. I recommend it to everyone. Beats the heck out of spending $ 500 bucks on a ....you know what .... blender. And it is really not nearly as noisy either.
i have recently bought a blendtec total blender and returned it only because i was feeling guilty about how much it cost. i had seen the omniblend v and ordered it instead at over 200.00 less!
BalasHapusi am excited to tell you it is every bit as wonderful as the blendtec and even seems a little more substantial in the base. i love it and it is a great buy.
I bought this blender instead of the Vitamix and I love it. A friend of mine researches everything and had a Vitamix, but returned it for the Omniblend and likes it much better. I can't compare the two having never used the Vitamix, but the Omni does everything I need it to do. I blend mostly smoothies with veggies and fruit and have also made soup. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
BalasHapusI could not wrap my brain or wallet around spending close to $400 for a basic Vitamix model. So I kept looking around and found the Omni V at 3blenders.com. This site has more than enough video demonstrations for anyone to get a good idea of how the Omni functions, which probably accounts for the seller's admonition not to buy if one is given to returning products purchased online. Nevertheless, at $250 plus shipping, the Omni is a formidable opponent to the Vitamix and Blendtec. So you have to blend a few extra seconds to get the exact same results as you would with a Vitamix or Blendtec--it's worth the difference in price! My Omni is pressed into service at least twice a day, and I have had NO problem blending nuts, greens veggies (such as swiss chard and kale), and frozen whole bananas--the Omni doesn't even blink--creamy smooth. And cleaning is a snap as part of the beauty of the Omni is its simplicity. The base of the Omni's carafe is wider than the Vitamix's, but I find wider bases are easier to scrap clean than narrow bases.
BalasHapusI will point out that the Omni is made in China while the other top contenders are made in the US. But after thinking about it, I decided where the product was manufactured was not a deal breaker for me.
If you are looking for a high powered blender like the Vitamix or Blendtec, but aren't sure you want to spend the extra money, check out the Omni. And look around the internet--you will find independent video reviews of the Omni V that essentially agree that the Omni V is more bang for your buck.
i think price and outcome cannot make a better match.
BalasHapusit is a little noisy though, but i haven't had a blender that is silent.
would buy it again.

We blend breakfast smoothies for five pretty much every morning and this is a well designed blender that can do the job. I already own one at another home and can heartily reccommend it
BalasHapusBought this about a year ago and I am very pleased with it. I use it twice a day w/o fail.
BalasHapusIt's really every bit as good as the higher priced competitors. Comes with a strong motor (3 horsepower). it uses less electricity, efficiently optimized to run slower, cooler and much quieter. Just a great deal and you can make super smoothies, soups, sauces, purees. The tamper is helpful to have, just in case you get stuck. at least you don't have to use a fork... and the warranty is 7 years. Have nothing to complain about, and that is why I recommend the OMNI Blender, from my own experience. I have tried all, the expensive one, Blendtec, Waring... and while they are all great blenders, the OMNI being really the same thing and costing less, is just the best bang for the buck.
