Read First Before Buy Black Decker 77666 blender cutter
The OMNI Blender is really powerful, I would say, it's just as strong blending and fine blending as those at costco... you know what I mean... I blended broccoli and avocado (a whole one), needed the tamper because I didn't have enough water in the jar. So I stuck the tamper in without the lid in place (they say you need to take off the cap in the lid and insert the tamper stick plunger through that hole). Had to discard my ingredients. Totally.. I felt goofy. The company sent a new replacement plunger.
The blender, on the second run, when I did it right, blended up the whole broccoli avocado puree super fine. Don't ask how it tasted... different story of why I blended up broccoli and avocado. I actually mix that up with almond pulp (left overs from almond milk making), add some oil, and then mix up a nut-butter spread with that. It's pretty green. I should make a video and post it on youtube some day... we will see.
great powerful blender. I recommend it to everyone. Beats the heck out of spending $ 500 bucks on a ....you know what .... blender. And it is really not nearly as noisy either.

BalasHapusHad it not been for this item I would have had to discard my blender after just one year of use. I am hoping that with more care while placing the jar on the blender this one will last longer than the original. It was fast and very simple to replace. Just need to place the pieces in order when you take the original one off so you know how to place the replacement back on. Very simple. Save a lot of money thanx to this part. Very happy.

BalasHapusHappy to find out that the blender just needed this part... We use it a lot. It made awful grinding sounds and leaked and sometimes it was hard to detach from the base. Seemed like time for a new blender, but I took a chance on this part, ordered from Culinary Parts, and it is like having a new blender. Hurrah!
