Best Review on Ninja BL660 Professional Blender Single
I researched blenders like crazy before buying the Ninja Pro. I needed one with at least 700 watts to mainly make raw-vegetable and fruit smoothies, but did not want to shell out the big bucks for a Vitamix or Blendtec. The Ninja Pro was by far the most powerful and best reviewed of my options. After ordering it from Amazon on a Saturday evening, it arrived the next Monday morning (unbelievably fast!!!). I read the manual, washed the Ninja, and made my first smoothie of a banana, fresh kale, cocoa, honey, and almond butter - yum! The mixture contained tiny pieces of kale, but I'm a pulp person, so that's fine! I used the single-serve cup and blade, and cleanup was a snap. Don't think cleanup on the big container, lid, and blade assembly would take long at all - just the three pieces, a squirt of soap, and a rinse. The blades on the big-container assembly are quite imposing, so I was extremely careful when washing and drying for the first time.
The Ninja Pro is a substantial piece of machinery, and I think it will serve me well! It's very, very powerful, and I love the two single-serve containers with lids - just remove the blade, replace with the container top, and in the fridge it goes.
I must have researched a dozen different blenders before finally deciding. If money was NOT an issue I def would have gone for the vitamix. But since money is an issue I needed a lower priced blender. I saw this in walmart and thought it looked perfect for my needs (daily smoothie and occasional cooking). I was very pleasantly surprised by this blender!! The small individual serving blender is perfect for my daily smoothies with soooo much less clean up. The power is amazing! I crush and blend ice, frozen fruit, and protein mixes with the individual. I use the big one for mixes and larger jobs. Ive had the blender now for about 2 months and I still love it. I highly recommend this for fruit smoothies. I havent tried green smoothies yet...(My body isnt ready for that)..but if/when I do I will update review.
BalasHapusWell, prior to this Ninja blender, I've only owned "conventional" blenders (the kind with 2-4 fixed blades at the bottom) so I'm not what you'd call a "blender snob" and perhaps that's why I think this thing makes fantastic smoothies...
BalasHapusBut this thing makes FANTASTIC smoothies! And it's ice crushing capabilities are pretty cool, too, it even blends ice really well in the single serve cup!
The only thing I noticed is, if like me, you like to add supplement powders to your smoothies, you have to add the powder first or close to the bottom. If you add it last, it gets tossed around and doesn't get pulled down if there isn't enough liquid on top of it because the powder is really light...
I bought this blender for basically one thing, and that's to make smoothies. Well, I'm happy to say, it does this extremely well and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you can't afford to spend $400+ on a VitaMix blender! This is the best one under $400, and it actually costs less than $150!

Cuts up big chunks in seconds and cleans easily. Priced way below Vitamix Chop carrots for carrot cake in about 5 seconds
BalasHapusWe use this blender everyday to make, on average, 3 smoothies with frozen fruit and ice both of which ruin blenders. We originally bought the Bullet but it was broken in a few months. We have had this blender for over one year and it still works GREAT!! We use the single serve blender almost exclusively since everyone likes different ingredients in their smoothie - and it honestly works like we just bought it. I love this thing.
