This is a solidly build, easy to clean, reliable blender. The glass jar does not stain and hold odors. The button panel smooth and is easy to clean. The motor is powerful. The blender does not "dance" on the kitchen counter even when it does the toughest jobs.
One of the toughest jobs this blender does beautifully is shredding horseradish. The horseradish is hard, absorbs liquid, and burns your eyes especially if you take a long time to make it. My previous blender took so long that I was tearing uncontrollably while preparing my horseradish. This blender is powerful and works so well that I can be done practically without any suffering!
And of course, it does a beautiful job on smoothies, pureed soups, and anything else you might ask you blender to do.

BalasHapusOur family has had this blender for maybe 6 months and we use it like crazy for smoothies and soups. My husband is not easy on it and it's holding up really well and works just like you want it to. I'd purchase another Kitchenaid product without hesitation.
BalasHapusI have been using this blender now for almost a year. It is pretty noisy when it's running, but it performs very well. I use mine mainly for pureeing soups and making smoothies. I find that it's no problem to throw in frozen fruit with a little liquid; the blades handle the fruit easily. I generally don't have to stop to redistribute things because the blender does a good job of circulating the contents so things are evenly processed. I am very happy with my blender, despite the loud motor.

This blender is just the best blender. I love it. I didn't purchase the other kitchen aid blender with the plastic, something about glass and it was a little smaller I didn't need a real big blender. Glad I bought it. I have been making smoothies everyday. yes it do start off slow and then the speed picks up, i have no complaints what so ever. came in a timely manner, no damage.

Primary purpose of this is making smoothy and ice crush. This is doing better than I expected. Especially, for ice crushing, it does crush and pulse and it is very effective. I recommend it with 5 star.
We were looking for a blender that would make smoothies on a daily basis, last longer than 90-days and not cost us a fortune. This blender easily crushes the ice and blends the frozen fruits into a delicious smoothie without problem. It does not over heat or stall and the 4-level blade prevents air pockets common with other blenders. It is somewhat loud but that is to be expected from a motor powerful enough to easily crush ice in seconds. We recommend this blender to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.
BalasHapusThe reason I'm giving this product a five star rating is beacause for the price, it's a awesome blender. You have to be a little patient with this blender. This morning I made a smoothie from raw carrots, cucumber, apple, and ginger tea. Even though it does take a while to get a smooth consistency, I was pretty impressed that (for the price) this blender could turn solid raw veggies (all with the skin still on) into a smoothie! So, unless you can afford to spend 500 on a blentec or a vitamix (the gods of blenders), this product is pretty freaking awesome! Definatly do not miss the money I spent on this product :)
BalasHapusThis blender is awesome! Crushes ice perfectly, blends superbly. Cleans alright. No complaints. It's quieter than we expected, as sometimes good blenders are super noisy; it's loud but not ear piercing. One thing - put some pressure on the lid with your hand when crushing ice!
