This blender is absolutely amazing!! I have seen this blender do with ease what my $200 shop blender struggle to do. It chops through large, solid ice cubes like they are butter.

PRO:
1. Motors is very powerful, so crushing ice cubes is a breeze.
2. Perfect design blades circulates contents inside and draws them in for crushing.
3. Large container and can handle a large load.

CON:
1. Side dispenser is a great idea but not very effective. Far easier to turn off blender and pour out content the old fashion way. May work great for dispensing watery blends not good thick smoothies.
2. Blender jar alignment is more three-handed people who have two right hands. Both the on/off dial and the jar handle are on the right. Design flaw must be why blender is so cheap.

OVERALL
Any shortcoming is minute to positives about this blender. It does an excellent job at what is supposed to do - BLEND.

I am buying a few of these as Christmas gifts for friends.

Cheaper than a new blender

The OMNI Blender is really powerful, I would say, it's just as strong blending and fine blending as those at costco... you know what I mean... I blended broccoli and avocado (a whole one), needed the tamper because I didn't have enough water in the jar. So I stuck the tamper in without the lid in place (they say you need to take off the cap in the lid and insert the tamper stick plunger through that hole). Had to discard my ingredients. Totally.. I felt goofy. The company sent a new replacement plunger.

The blender, on the second run, when I did it right, blended up the whole broccoli avocado puree super fine. Don't ask how it tasted... different story of why I blended up broccoli and avocado. I actually mix that up with almond pulp (left overs from almond milk making), add some oil, and then mix up a nut-butter spread with that. It's pretty green. I should make a video and post it on youtube some day... we will see.

great powerful blender. I recommend it to everyone. Beats the heck out of spending $ 500 bucks on a ....you know what .... blender. And it is really not nearly as noisy either.

The torque of this blender can handle anything I throw at it; it has never bogged down. I mostly make fruit + vegetable + ice smoothies. The blender is no louder than other weaker blenders I've used. The blender-to-motor coupler is made of metal (cheaper blenders use plastic, which can wear quickly). The large size is excellent for big batches of smoothie. The tall lid has three layers of sealing stripes, making for a very good seal. The only small complaint I have is that "low speed" isn't low enough for me. The blades spin so fast that I never need "high speed" for my smoothies, even when making a full-load of smoothie. "Low speed" is still fast enough that non-liquids sometimes bounce/float over the blades rather than fall into the blades and get chopped. For example, if I cut a few large apples into quarters and put them in the blender, "low speed" sometimes juggles the apple chunks rather than blending them simply because the blades are spinning too fast. To solve this problem, I use very short bursts of the "pulse" button. This allows the apple chunks to settle back down in-between the blades so that they can be blended the next time I press "pulse". Once the items have been blended enough to form 2-3 inches of liquid at the bottom of the blender, everything blends smoothly.

Besides that small quibble, I am a happy customer and would buy this product again.
