Read First Before Buy Nourishing Meals Healthy Gluten Free Recipes
I was so excited when I saw this cookbook in our local bookstore! Ali and Tom's first cookbook, Whole Life Nutrition, has been the main cookbook I have used since it came out. I have made many of the recipes numerous times and highly recommend it.
Now that I have Nourishing Meals I can't put it down. I love the middle section of the book that has about 16 pages of beautiful color photo's of completed recipes with the name and page # of where they are located in the book! Every photo of a recipe (and there are about 5 on each page)is so inspiring that of course I want to make them all.
I also love the layout and organization of the book. There are gray tabs on each page with the name of the section you are looking at such as 'soups, vegetables, grains, meals, desserts', etc. It makes it fast and easy to find a particular section of the book.
I've made my own almond milk for the Mango Banana Almond Smoothie which was a big hit here. From the bread section I was inspired to make my own Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter for the first time. It's on day 5 and soon it will be ready for me to try out the Sourdough Teff Bread recipe! I've also made a soup and the quick Pita bread - yum!
If you like trying new recipes that are easy to follow, healthy, nutritious and delicious you should definitely get this awesome cookbook. You won't be disappointed!
