Best Review on Plant Fusion Supplement Chocolate Pound

Plant Fusion Supplement Chocolate Pound

I tried PlantFusion for the first time, I got the Chocolate 2lb. First, its completely mild on your stomach compared to Whey which bloats your stomach and gives you mild stomach pain for an hour. Second, the PlantFusion chocolate flavor mixed with water or even milk is terrible. To me those arent even an option. Mixed with orange juice is a little better, but still not great. I found though if you mix with unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk it is awesome. Add a banana and it is even better. The almond milk brings a buttery creamy taste that makes it taste like a carmel chocolate malt. Milk alone doesnt do that.
Third, I only mix in a blender, none of the other methods comes close to mixing it properly. And fourth, the price is great, you cant beat the price with free shipping on Amazon. I'm a vegetarian and plant powder isnt supposed to taste like chocolate, not supposed to taste good period, so I am ok with the fructose and sodium, real plants have sugar and salt too, and since I take after my workout, it doesnt matter to me. There is a big difference between forcing down a terrible tasting protein drink after a workout, and actually looking forward to a good tasting drink after a workout. This stuff is the best I've found, and its not made in some chinese factory with no accountability.

They're amazing!

Read First Before Buy Prismacolor Premier Soft Colored Pencils

Prismacolor Premier Soft Colored Pencils

I'm new to Prismacolor pencils as they are a bit hard to get and expensive to buy in Australia. The ones I bought from Amazon are about half the price including postage than what I can buy them here. They are a really high quality artist pencil and they allow you to layer your colors and also to burnish. For those of you that aren't familiar with burnishing its a way of laying the color on in a heavier hand so that your pencil actually goes on thicker and takes on a waxier or almost painted look. These are the only pencil I have found so far that this technique really works properly with. They also blend together really well and the range of colors is just awesome. They are more expensive than what you may buy in your average office/school supply store but this is defiantly a case of you get what you pay for, if you want quality it's worth the bit extra. You really can't go wrong with these. A little tip: If you don't want your lead to break when you sharpen your pencils use a battery or electric sharpener. Often when you get breaks as you sharpen its because you are slightly twisting the pencil as you sharpen it and these ones are just too good to waste.

Great Product

Nut Milk Bag New Improved

After using cheesecloth AND a small mesh strainer to make soy milk I can't believe there was something like this out there all along. I went from having to strain the milk 4 times to only once. It cut the time required to make soy milk in half and less dishes required for all of the pouring back and forth. It fits perfectly on the old thermos (the plastic kind for taking water or other cold liquids not the coffee type) that is about 5-6" across and is exactly the same height. If I were using a large bowl to make the milk I would probably get the gallon bag but this one fits perfect on the top of a pitcher or thermos. The clean-up was much easier than cleaning cheesecloth as well. Nothing stuck in the bag like it does in the cheesecloth so I just dropped the mess into a bowl, rinsed the inside of the bag and hung it up on my kitchen towel hook. I would recommend this product to anyone.

ps: It would be a great bag for rinsing sprouts as well.

Awesome Recipes!

Best Review on Wardens Favorite Ninja Recipes Presents

Wardens Favorite Ninja Recipes Presents

I love my Nija having originally used it only for the things I had seen demonstrated on QVC. I have been a fan of Bob Warden and his easy-to-follow style for years so I was anxious to do more. The book came out, then sold out so I had to wait. But what worth-while, worth-the-wait purchase to make!

As with Bob's style the book does the following:

- Cover every type of food service you want: breakfast to meal to dessert
- Give a shopping list for every recipe
- Show a photo for just about every recipe
- Never use hard to find products
- Keep it simple whether it be mixing or cooking.
- Make is great to eat and serve
- Presented in a quality book on quality paper to resist spills

Thank you Bob for another winner AND for offering it at a price we cannot afford to pass up!
You make me a hero in my own home!

Plumps My Cheeks

Best Review on Neocell Super Powder Collagen Ounce

Neocell Super Powder Collagen Ounce

Here's my Collagen supplement story (that I wrote for my FB friends who witnessed the pain I've been suffering, and for those of you who may be experiencing similar pain):

About a year ago I injured my elbow and although I tried multiple remedies, it only became more irritated and more painful. Keyboards and repetitive movement (almost everything I did) only made it worse. It simply would not heal. The pain got to the point that I could not pour a cup of tea without it feeling like coals of fire were searing my entire arm. I had to have others carry the groceries. Pouring from a gallon of milk was impossible without extra props and help. I went to the doctor, and after multiple consultations, the verdict was that it was part of life and "welcome to the club."

I was not thrilled with the idea of having to depend on the prescribed Tylenol and Ibuprofen for relief the rest of my life. So, I started researching and stumbled across some interesting reviews on Amazon regarding results people were seeing by taking collagen supplement.

While I've seen a lot about lotions, hair, and cosmetic products containing collagen, I've not heard a lot of talk or recommendations on taking it as a supplement.

Collagen "facts" I learned:
- 30% of all protein in the body is collagen.
- 70% of all collagen in the body is in connective tissue.
- it's essential for hair, nails, bones, joints, etc.
- it is used for help with building muscles.
- it aids with energy and endurance.

So, I figured I'd try it.

BTW -- Let me say that we eat very healthy: organic, top-quality food, balanced diet, and I take excellent vitamin supplements -- daily. No greasy, fast-foods, refined sugars, and processed foods or additives. So I was doing all diet stuff right.

In my research I saw there were variations of Collagen supplements, so I decided to start with 2 different types of powder (this one and the Dr. Bernd "grass-fed, cold processed" with amino acids) that I mixed into my morning vitamin health/shake drink (that I always took). I knew not to expect immediate results because joints and tendons are among the slowest in the body to heal.

However, about 6 weeks after I started taking collagen supplements, I noticed that my nails were growing strong and no longer wimpy and breaking. At first I didn't think much of it, but then I realized that the pain in my joints was ...umm... kinda not there any more. I waited for a while to see if it was a fluke or if was just my imagination. But seriously, it's been several weeks now, that I no longer experience that burning coal-fire pain. Last night when I went to bed I realized that I could not remember the last time I had taken an ibuprofen.

I love being able to pour my coffee, do my computer/keyboard stuff, and live life without the excruciating pain that had become a part of if over the last year.

I take the collagen supplement daily, but others in the family have seen great results with taking it only 3x a week. I think it depends on the body's need.

I'm not saying that collagen is a fix all magic (there is no such thing). However, if there's a deficit of a nutrient in the body, then it will scream for it. In my case, I believe the evidence points to the fact that I was needing collagen, and I believe there are many others out there who are in a similar situation. From what I've seen, it's worth trying.

PS: I was ready to post this when my 19-year old called and ask if I'd drop something off at her work. So, I decided to run drop it off before posting. (Ok, I jogged and walked part of the way too). When I got there, a 20-year old colleague of hers asked if I was her sister. That's the first time I've ever had that happen. I think I'm gonna keep taking this STUFF!

Great for pool geeks like me

Read First Before Buy Taylor 9265 Magneticstirrer Speedstir Start Uppack

Taylor 9265 Magneticstirrer Speedstir Start Uppack

When doing tests on TA and CH and SALT levels you all know its a PAIN in the ... to have to swirl after each drop (where each drop represents say 10ppm for TA or CH) and you need to keep going this till you get your reading. TA is not so bad at 50-70ppm levels, but when you in the CH test where you have to do somewhere between 20-30 drops, its a true pain. Ive noticed it also skews the test if you had swirl at times where you thought you swirled it enough but you did and added another drop and another but the actual test was say over 2drops ago.

This thing is awesome for that.

Now I have one beef with it, not taking a star off for this. The speedstir auto shuts off at 1min. When you doing Salt test or CH test where you have to drop in at least 20-30 drops, and if you like me where you drop one drop every 2-3secs so let it mix in and see if it swirled, by the time you get to drop 20, the speedstir auto shuts off. So then you have to turn it back on to continue your test. My memory sucks at times and one time I lost count on what drop I was at when I was turning it back on..... dammit. Hahahha getting old sucks.

One other thing, Taylor always includes nice cases for everything like their OTO test, Salt Test, K-2006 test kit, but this Speedstir doesnt come with a case, wish it did. That little pill is so easy to lose. So I ended up putting all this in a small rubbermaid container, wife doesnt know I stole it yet.

A Sweet blender!

Best Review on KitchenAid 5 Speed Blenders Polycarbonate Pitcher

KitchenAid 5 Speed Blenders Polycarbonate Pitcher

I was one of those people wondering what's the big difference between those cheap 30 dollar blender vs. the ones that are over a hundred bucks... I found that the following things made this particular blender very useful and worth every dollar that I paid for...

1) SOOOOO easy to clean... you literally just take out the jar and just hand wash it... Other cheap machines will make you have to take it apart and clean every little parts...

2) chops ice very well... One time, my ice cubes all CLUMPED together into ONE HUGE ice chunk (i kept it in a plastic bag), and I wondered if my blender would be able to crush this... to my surprise, the blender was able to crush into a smooth texture with the "crush ice" button.... A cheap machine would make you use a spoon or something to move the ice around or maybe just crush it into little pieces before-hand...

3) the 5 different buttons are nice to have... Literally, each button on the blender acts differently... the Ice Crush button is very nice because it pushes the ice cubes around to get to every single ice cube in the jar... I found this function very useful... Also, the "liquefy" and "puree" buttons are very useful when making smoothies or shakes...

In my experience, I used a 1500 dollar blender before (was a commercial purpose one), and that thing worked flawlessly.... for something that you want for homeuse, this is a pretty good blender and for it's price, i think it will satisfy what you're looking for.....

It's not too cheap, not to expensive, but just right~
