I was so excited when I saw this cookbook in our local bookstore! Ali and Tom's first cookbook, Whole Life Nutrition, has been the main cookbook I have used since it came out. I have made many of the recipes numerous times and highly recommend it.

Now that I have Nourishing Meals I can't put it down. I love the middle section of the book that has about 16 pages of beautiful color photo's of completed recipes with the name and page # of where they are located in the book! Every photo of a recipe (and there are about 5 on each page)is so inspiring that of course I want to make them all.

I also love the layout and organization of the book. There are gray tabs on each page with the name of the section you are looking at such as 'soups, vegetables, grains, meals, desserts', etc. It makes it fast and easy to find a particular section of the book.

I've made my own almond milk for the Mango Banana Almond Smoothie which was a big hit here. From the bread section I was inspired to make my own Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter for the first time. It's on day 5 and soon it will be ready for me to try out the Sourdough Teff Bread recipe! I've also made a soup and the quick Pita bread - yum!

If you like trying new recipes that are easy to follow, healthy, nutritious and delicious you should definitely get this awesome cookbook. You won't be disappointed!

Best Review on Genuine Blender Bottle Protein Fitness

In preparing for jaw surgery and no solid food for months after it, I was looking for a really great blender to make smoothies. I read many reviews and almost bought a vitamix until I read reviews on consumers reports. Since Oster BCBG08 was rated nearly as good as the Vitamix for $400.00+ less, my husband and I thought we would give it a try. From the first smoothie we knew we had a winner in this blender! It has enough power to easily blend ice and fruit completely. (We have had 2 Magic Bullets and neither of them would completely blend ice or fruit without leaving chunks behind.) We have made multiple smoothies every day since we got this and it works so well it is almost unbelievable for this price especially! We had read a few reviews that criticized the light weight of the plastic base which looks like metal. Believe me, we love that this blender is so light weight and easy to handle yet looks like nice expensive metal. We have never had a problem with it moving around on our counter at all as other reviewers have nor do we have a problem with the cord being too short. We think this blender is about as perfect as a blender can get!

I scored this ice cream maker for $20 at a garage sale yesterday and just served up my first batch of "moolicious" vanilla using a recipe I found online (and doubling it). It is fantastic, superb, wonderful and amazing. Yes, it's loud (seemed to get louder as the ice cream got thicker), but it is fast so the noise is short lived (I put it in the bathroom). It seems more or less foolproof. No regrets. Oh, it took a long time for the liquid in the bowl to freeze and I was afraid it would not, but it was solid this morning when I shook it to test. The ice cream came out very soft, but I put it in the freezer and now have lovely harder ice cream. It's great both ways. Mine was missing the instruction book, but there are many recipes online and you really don't need instructions to operate this (freeze bowl, put in ingredients, put stirrer thingy in, put on lid, turn it on). This is going to be fun, so long as I keep my 6 days/week of running up!

Sue Gregg's cookbooks are very popular among many homeschoolers and women who are trying to improve the nutrition level of their cooking. In some cases I think they are overpriced and the information in most of them was not new to me.

But, and I say this emphatically, but the Breakfast cookbook is more than worth its price. It is unique, comprehensive, and it is one of the ten or so cookbooks I simply could not manage without.Sue Gregg's breakfast cookbook includes recipes and information for safely using your blender to grind some whole grains- that will save you the cost of a grain mill and get fresh grains into your diets much more quickly than waiting for the grain mill. Buying our own fresh grains is also cheaper than buying the flours, so I am able to make up for my tepid response to the other Sue Gregg cookbooks with unstinted, heartfelt, full-blown praise for this one. If you make breakfast instead of pouring it out of a box, this is a most excellent cookbook to own. If you pour your breakfast out of a box then this is a great cookbook to help you escape that money trap. I really like this cookbook (and nobody's paying me to say so and I have no stock in the company, unfortunately).
