Excellent Blender

Oster BPCT02 BA0 000 2 Speed Beehive Stainless

I bought this blender about a year and a half ago at Target. I was just looking for a blender for smoothies but didn't want to go too cheap. Unfortunately, I got to the store and most of the blenders were gone because they had a really good sale going on. Only the really cheap ones for $30. or less were left and the extremely expensive ones. I finally saw this one and it was moderately priced at $60 bucks so I read the box to make sure it was something I could use and bought it thinking it would be as stuck in my cupboard after awhile. But what a great surprise, it was a really good ice to snow crusher, blended smoothies really smooth and also pulverized hard food. This is really a great product. It does sound very loud but I don't care because after my workouts I like my smoothies and I feel good that I didn't spend alot of money for things I can't afford but the quality is very sound. The toggle switch is really simple, hold it down for a regular consistent blend and click it up for a faster, stronger, blending. The sound is not an issue for me but thats my opinion.

Great for smoothies

Best Review on Hamilton Beach Smoothie Smart Blender

Hamilton Beach Smoothie Smart Blender

I was amazed that this blender was as good as it was for the small price. I have an old Vita-mix I am considering selling since I got this Hamilton Beach blender. It has a glass pitcher which surprised me too since most are plastic these days. I love the smoothie setting that goes through three steps all by itself Pulse/mix/blend with just the touch of one button! Silky smooth every time no chunks left behind. It has done equally well on beans, bread crumbs, custards, icy drinks etc.. It doesn't hit my upper cabinets like the Vita-mixer so I can leave it out. I like the tight fitting lid with the pour spout but I may have preferred a wider opening for adding things while it is running like oil in mayo. Not a big issue though, most liquids will pour through the spout or you could just remove the lid. Overall I am very impressed with this blender and amazed it was so inexpensive for the quality. Yes, I would definitely recommend this blender, there is just no need to spend hundreds of dollars on a blender, I've had those and I like this one as well, even better then my old Vita-mix that with all it's noisy big power always left chunks of something behind no matter how long it ran, this one is smooth as silk every time!

Awesome mixer--I have had it for several years after being disappointed with my other one. I did all the reviewing, ratings research and found enough evidence indicating that this would be in my home for several years without fail, based on user reviews.
This mixer never fails me--big or small job, it works splendidly. I'm not Betty Crocker, but I like to throw a few things in the oven now and then and this mixer performs every time.
A bit of "bouncing" occurs if I have it really loaded with cookie dough or gingerbread, but I guess that is to be expected with big loads. I have the 5-quart bowl, so this may not occur using the 6-quart.
It is great looking; I can proudly leave it on the counter without embarrassment. The bowl still looks great after many uses and the attachments are still like new.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great Blender

Best Review on Hamilton Beach 53206 Maker Blender

Hamilton Beach 53206 Maker Blender

My Vitamix 5000 came with the older type container that was not BPA-free, and it had the older type lid that has a rim on the outside that must be pushed below the rim on the inside of the container. Sometimes the lid went on easily, and other times it was annoyingly difficult. When the newer type BPA-free container came out, I really liked it. I especially liked the way the lid fit on the container; it looked like it was so much easier to use than my older style lid, and it had those two rubber "ears" that fit over the outside rim of the container to secure it... it just looked like a much better design.

Well, I didn't order a replacement container because I thought it would be too expensive to order one with a blade and too hard to change the blade over if I ordered a container without the blade. Honestly, I worried I might break something.

My eventual undoing came after I ordered a 32 oz. wet blade container, with blade, from Vitamix. I really wanted the convenience of being able to select either the 32 oz. or the 64 oz. container, depending on the job at hand, and I do love having both size containers available. Suffice it to say that the new style lid on my new 32 oz. container spoiled me. The more I used it, the more I yearned for a new 64 oz. container, but I was still concerned about switching the blade over from my old container. Then I saw the price of this 64 oz. container on Amazon, and I finally "caved." I'm so glad I did.

When my new 64 oz. container arrived, it didn't take me more than 5 minutes to switch the blade over, using the wrench that was included with the container. I immediately added a drop or two of dish detergent to the new container, put in some warm water, and ran it for about two minutes just to make sure it was clean and that it didn't leak. It was fine!

Now, my only regret is that I waited so darned long before finally buying this really great new container!

A must for college students!

Magic Bullet Deluxe 25 Blender

We love this product. We love how compact it is in comparison to a blender so it is easy to pull out and make a quick drink without a big production.

Another great thing about the Magic Bullet is that you can whirl up a drink and drink it right in the same mug or cup you mixed with. There are little rings that screw on when you are done blending so you don't have to drink from a lip with screw marks. We are especially big fans of the coffee mug style lids.

It has a bigger pitcher for mixing up a larger quantity too.

It's a total luxury to whirl up a few ice cubes, a little coffee and some milk (and a bit of sugar) for a drink I'd pay five dollars or more elsewhere.

We also love it for milkshakes and smoothies. We use half and half and frozen fruit for the smoothies and then don't need to add ice cubes
