Best Tasting Protein Powder

Now Foods Protein Chocolate 10 Pound

This little green thing is turning out to be an outsized blessing!

Perfect size for making a personal smoothie in the breakfast.

Here's some things to watch for.

Blade does not turn:
Some reviewers say blade does not turn or gets stuck after a while so you have to push the food/fruits down. The way around this is to drop the small pieces in first, and be sure to fill the bottom third with some liquid (soy milk for me) such that the blades are covered, the liquid will help move whatever fruits you have.

Burnt Motor Smell:
Yes, there is some faint burnt oil smell if you keep the motor running for a while. Point is, this is a personal sized blender so go easy - you won't have to run it a minute to get the job done, 10 sec a go is good enough for me.

Have it 2 months now, with the strawberry/blueberry/banana/soy milk smoothies I am getting for breakfast (and some times dinner); over the greasy hams and bacons - I have lost 8 pounds. Can't wait to see my next cholesterol test.

If you have a fridge in the office, I would recommend also one at work. A friend has recommended Ninja / Vitamix - the Cadillac version... I am just laughing to the bank with this one... green looks great in the kitchen and takes up so little table space.

PS: I have never encountered the difficult-to-clean situation, just rinse it under tap water right away.

  1. I am trying to get in very good shape, and my fat percentage is 13%. I weigh around 150-155 usually, and I want to lose about 10 pounds of body fat, bringing me to 6-7%. How can I accomplish this? I swim about 2 hours every day.

I wanting to lose 10-12 pounds that I have put on after entering college, but this has been a very hard task for me thus far. So...I'm looking for a good fitness bar to eat after I workout to help me with my weight loss process. Thanks for any advice.

  4. I am trying to lose about 10 pounds. I am 5'6, 26 years old and weigh 143 pounds. I am physically active and am getting ready to start training for a 1/2 Marathon. I have been trying to maintain a 1200 calorie diet but I am realizing that I may be eating too little. (I am trying to find a balance between keeping my metabolism up without over eating and not starving myself.) My daily activities are basically sitting behind a desk but I exercise 4-6 days a week. Any idea's?

  5. I have to gain 8-10 pounds soon and I've tried eating a bit more but nothing works. I've resorted to practically stuffing my face but I know that's not healthy. What do I do?

  6. I work out just about every day for about 45 minutes but I'd like to gain about 5 to 10 pounds and was wondering what are the best foods to eat and which protein shakes are the best.

  7. I am not really fat to begin with, about 10 pounds overweight. I have been working out diligently for the past 2 months, as well as eating well, but I am not seeing any noticeable results. I am doing strength training for my thighs in particular along with cardio in the mornings, and riding my bike in the evening. What am I doing wrong? School stars in 2 weeks and was hoping my thighs would be thinner.
